The Servicepoint

The Service Point which was built by Argyll and Bute Council is open five mornings a week between 9.30 and 12.30.

The staff are happy to provide access for islanders and visitors to the varied equipment in the office. You can have Photocopies done, send and receive Faxes, access the Internet, have Laminated copies made and make Video Conference calls. The Public Library, both for adults and children, is here and we are able to access the main library menu to help you find the book you want. Many of the Council's departments can be reached through the Service Point and we keep a supply of forms for Building applications, Planning consents, Social Housing applications, purchase of Lairs and Tipping Permits for the weekly re-cycling and commercial waste facility at Bonaveh.

Colonsay's Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths is based in the office and Civil Weddings and Civil Partnerships can be arranged.

Colonsay Community Development Company and Trading Company also use the premises. The company's coal and gas supplies are sold through the Service Point and we keep the keys for access to the Coal Righ.

Our local development officers, use the back office as their base and are often to be found here too.

Phone us on 01951 200263 and we will do our best to help.
