In a stunning location at the southern end of the island, this farmhouse is at the end of a half-mile-long rough track. The house is south facing, with commanding views over the sea (the tidal Strand) towards Oransay. The house has a large garden with a low drystone wall. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/dining room, a sitting room with an open fire, two twin bedrooms (one with bunks) and a bathroom with a shower. Upstairs there is one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with spectacular views over the strand.

A compendium of information concerning Colonsay and the Great War, kindly provided by the Colonsay and Oransay Heritage Trust and Alan Davis (author of Colonsay's Fallen) will be on display within the Parish Church.

With some financial help from HIE, the new site was launched at the end of August. Some areas of the site still require attention but the work is ongoing.
